Jazz In The Valley - Poster Design

The Jazz in the Valley concert put on by the school each year provided a great opportunity for the graphic art class. The objective was to create a poster that was representative of the music and the artists that would be performing. I worked with the parameters we were given and learned about the artists. My poster incorporated the dark blues and purples that I really feel are at the heart of the jazz world. The shadowing on the typography also reflects the depth of jazz music, which I personally love. Our posters were entered in to a contest to see which would be used to promote the concert.
